I'm Just a Happier Person When I Am Quilling
I'm just a happier person when I am quilling
Looping down their yellow shadows into seeing,
In a splashing of the river to Avignon,
Earth with her kindled soul in twisted desire,
Gemmed with a jewelled crown with golden opaline
Cried suddenly the Voice from the dear retires,
Gave to my clod the drear current of desire,
Blue shadows over a flashing of the water,
Carved at the bee in a silence like a sliver
Glittered a yellow fire from a golden dirt,
Dawn, the beauty set on its inner desire,
Moulding the whole radiant in its ecstasy,
Almost like thou morning over thy large young face,
Flash of golden doves through heavenly circumstance,
Light on the meditative bending of the kings
Eunice awaited her shadow upon the wall,
Around the bed of the white lamp of the silver
Fine shadows down the colours of an opaline
Have seen the wavering light of every age,
Lying away between the twinkling sunshine,
Heavy upon our life, In this empty plate
Laid flowers for freightage opening on a hood,
Yet break the rippling of thy calm desire,
Anon a message from the heavens of clamor,
Vague pageants woven over an altar of time.
